Congrats are in order to Elle fashion-news director Anne Slowey, who gave birth to a baby girl this afternoon at 12:13! Weighing in at seven pounds, twelve ounces, this is Slowey's first child with her husband, Rodger Fairey. They named her Afton Florabelle Lawson Fairey. "Big lips, long fingernails. Double trouble," Slowey wrote to Daily Front Row. This little girl is truly blessed, because not only does she have an awesome name and a top fashion editor for a mom, but she was also ushered into the world with a baby shower in which hot young muscular men wearing pink diapers fastened with oversize safety pins served guests booze and treats. We do hope Afton celebrates turning 1 at Splash.
